Ligue 1: Paris Saint-Germain's fans on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram up by 12 million in 2018-19

Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Conforama) has nearly 69 million fans on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, according to data compiled by News Tank on 01/07/2019. This total is 12 million more than on 01/08/2018 (57 million fans, +21.1%). No other club experienced such a progression among the clubs of the French elite division during the 2018-19 season.

Among the clubs of the European Top 5, Paris Saint-Germain is behind only Juventus FC (Serie A TIM, +20 million fans), FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander, +17.6 million), Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander, +16.4 million) and Liverpool FC (Premier League, +13.3 million) in terms of additional fans.

The Parisian club, the 2018-19 Ligue 1 Conforama champions, is the most popular French club ahead of Olympique de Marseille, which has nearly 9.6 million fans (+9.5% compared to 01/08/2018), and AS Monaco FC, with 9 million (also +7.8%).
