England - USA (1-2), semi-final of the Women's World Cup 2019, at the Groupama Stadium (53,512 spectators) in Lyon (FRA), drew an average of 8.819 million viewers (10.254 million from kick-off to final whistle) with a peak audience of 11.821 million, on the British public TV channel BBC One, on Tuesday 02/07/2019 (kick-off at 20:00 local time, 21:00 CET). This figure represented an average audience share of 43.3%.

This is the fourth time during the Women's World Cup 2019 (after the matches versus Scotland, Cameroon and Norway) that an England match has set a record for a women's football fixture in the United Kingdom.

In the United States (kick-off at 15:00 on the east coast, noon on the west coast), the match was watched by an average of 7.025 million viewers (peak audience of 9 million) on the national TV channel Fox (English language) and 909 000 (peak audience of 1.2 million) on the pay-TV channels NBCSN (English language) and Telemundo (Spanish language). These figures represent the best audience since the beginning of the competition.
