Spain: publication of the 2019-20 LaLiga Santander and LaLiga 1|2|3 calendars

LaLiga has published the 2019-20 LaLiga Santander and LaLiga 1|2|3 calendars on 04/07/2019. Matchday 1 of the two leagues is scheduled on the weekend of 17 and 18/08/2019. The Spanish first division will end on the weekend of 23 and 24/05/2020 with Matchday 38. LaLiga 1|2|3, with 22 clubs, will play Matchday 42, the final matchday of the season during the same weekend, before making way for the promotion play-offs which will be held until 21/06/2020.

Among the "key dates" highlighted by the Spanish League:

• The first "Clásico" (FC Barcelona - Real Madrid CF) on Matchday 10, the weekend of 26 and 27/10/2019 at the Camp Nou, with the second to be held at the Santiago Bernabéu on Matchday 26 (from 29/02 and 01/03/2020).

• The first Seville "Gran Derbi" between Real Betis Balompié and Sevilla FC will be held on Matchday 13, the weekend of 09 and 10/10/2019 at the Estadio Benito Villamarín.

• The clash between Club Atlético de Madrid and Real Madrid CF will be played on Matchday 7, the weekend of 28 and 29/10/2019 at the Wanda Metropolitano.
