LaLiga Santander: 1xBet (sports betting) becomes a global partner of FC Barcelona (2019-2024)

1xBet, a sports betting operator based on the Caribbean island of Curaçao (owned by the Netherlands), has become a partner of FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) for five seasons (2019-2024), according to the Catalan club on 03/07/2019.

1xBet has the status of global partner, the second level in the Catalan club's sponsorship hierarchy. 1xBet replaces the British online sports betting and gambling operator betfair, FC Barcelona's betting partner for the 2016-2019 cycle.

"The agreement, forms part of the club's global expansion strategy, and also relates to its mission to source the best possible partners in different categories to help it to maintain its leading position not just on the field of play but also in terms of sports sponsorship and marketing," said Barça.

"As a result of this agreement, FC Barcelona and 1xBET will be working together in different activations from a wide range of assets, including access the players to create promotional material and marketing campaigns," add the club.
