Portugal: Eleven Sports extends its sub-licensing agreement with TVI for the Champions League

The British audiovisual group Eleven Sports, which holds the broadcasting rights for the Champions League in Portugal for the 2018-2021 cycle, has extended its sub-licensing agreement with the Portuguese free television channel TVI for the next two seasons (2019-20 and 2020-21), on 03/07/2019.

TVI will continue to offer one match of a Portuguese club per matchday (as long as at least one is in the running) as well as the final, while Eleven Sports will continue to broadcast the entire competition.

The 11 matches broadcast by TVI during the 2018-19 season were watched by an average of 1.9 million viewers, representing an average audience share of 41%.
