Women's World Cup 2019: 1.13 million total attendance, 21,755 average per match, fill rate of 74.6%

1,131,267 spectators watched the 52 matches of the 2019 Women's World Cup, an average of 21,755 spectators per match and a fill rate of 74.6%.

The final, United States - Netherlands (2-0), recorded the best attendance of the competition with 57,900 spectators (fill rate of 100%) at Groupama Stadium in Décines (Lyon, FRA), on Sunday 07/07/2019 (kick-off at 17:00 CET).

20 matches had a fill rate above 90%, and 10 matches had a rate below 50%. The Groupama Stadium (FIFA capacity of 57,900 seats), which hosted the semi-finals and the final, had the best fill rate (92%) while the Allianz Riviera (FIFA capacity of 35,100 seats) in Nice recorded the lowest at 49.5%, despite hosting one game of the French national team (99.4%).

The seven matches of the United States, the repeat 2019 world champions, recorded the best average per game (37,606 spectators), ahead of the five matches of the French national team (35,592 spectators), who nevertheless display a slightly better fill rate (99.5% vs. 96.8%).
