LaLiga Santander: Telefonica (telecom) "technological integrator" of Real Madrid CF (2019-2023)

Telefonica, the Spanish telecommunications operator and main domestic broadcaster of LaLiga Santander for the 2019-2022 cycle, has becomes the "technological integrator" partner of Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander) for four seasons (2019-2023), announced the club and Telefonica on 09/07/2019.

This agreement is part of the renovation plan and the technological transformation of the Santiago-Bernabeu (80,000 capacity). "Telefónica will take on a role for the integration of technological solutions in the different facilities and infrastructure of the club during the next four years," stated the Madrid said. The socios of Real Madrid have validated the project to contract a loan of €525m to finance the renovation plan of the stadium, on 23/09/2018.
