USA: Adidas partner of the 35^th edition of Dr Pepper Dallas Cup youth tournament (U13-U19)

The German sporting goods supplier Adidas agreed to a multi-year sponsorship partnership with the Dr Pepper Dallas Cup (USA), an international youth football tournament, on 21/02/2014. The tournament, which will be held from 13/04 to 20/04/2014, will see Adidas become the official match ball supplier, as well as all official tournament apparel and a range of Dallas Cup licenced products.

"Adidas Soccer is proud to partner with (the) Dallas Cup and support the most storied youth soccer event in the country. Adidas Soccer strives to build, support, and nurture events and programs that create opportunities for our sport to grow and players to get better," said Peter Withers, the sports marketing manager of Adidas Soccer.

The tournament's CEO, Andy Swift, said that the sponsorship would help for attract elite football teams to the event, stating that, "globally recognised teams ensure that we will continue to bring the highest level of competition possible to Dallas.”
