U-17 2019 World Cup Brazil: 4 stadia selected, drawing of the final phase on 11/07/2019

"The Bezerrão Stadium in Brasilia (capital of Brazil) will make history by hosting the opening match of the U-17 World Cup, the very first edition of this prestigious tournament to be held in Brazil, on Saturday 26/10/2019," announced FIFA on 10/07/2019. This same enclosure will host the final on Sunday 17/11/2019.

The other three sites of this competition are:
• Olímpico Stadium, in Goiânia (State of Goiàs), 200 kilometers southwest of Brasília.
• The Stade da Serrinha, in Goiânia.
• Stade Kléber Andrade, in Vitória (Cariacica), 950 kilometers south-east of Brasilia.

The international federation and the local organizing committee were keen "to bring the U-17 World Cup to communities that have never hosted a FIFA competition before," the organizers said.

24 teams will take part in this competition, with the draw for the group stage held at FIFA headquarters in Zurich (SUI), this Thursday 11/07/2019 at 15:00 CET:
• CONMEBOL: Brazil (host country), Argentina, Chile, Ecuador and Paraguay.
• AFC: Australia, Japan, South Korea and Tajikistan.
• CAF: Angola, Cameroon, Nigeria…
