473,076 tickets were allocated in the second draw of ticket sales for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil (12/06 to 13/07/2014), said FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) on 21/02/2014. For this phase, which ended on 30/01/2014, Brazilian fans account for about 60% of tickets sold.

For the phases of ticket sales available to the general public, 1.5 million tickets have already been allocated, of which 57% are to Brazilian spectators. Across all sales mediums, including the hospitality program and other groups (partners, in particular), 2.3 million tickets have already been allocated out of a total of about 3 million.

"With 290,169 tickets dedicated to supporters of the participating teams now allocated, we start to see a balance in the ticket assignment. The teams can count on the support of their fans in the 12 stadiums in Brazil. This shows the huge anticipation for the 2014 FIFA World Cup on all corners of the world," said Thierry Weil, FIFA marketing director and head of ticketing, on 21/02/2014.
