Bundesliga: Konami succeeds EA Sports as platinum partner of FC Bayern Munich from 2019-20

Konami, a Japanese video game publisher, has become a partner of FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) as part of a "long-term agreement" from 2019-20, according to the club on 11/07/2019. To mark the occasion club player Serge Gnabry (GER) has become an ambassador of Konami and will be featured on the cover of the Bayern Munich special edition of the eFootball PES 2020 game.

"The partnership between Konami and FC Bayern provides the developers of the eFootball PES series with comprehensive access to the stars and legends of Germanys most successful football club, allowing lifelike reproduction of all the elements necessary in producing the games. After a complete 3D scan of the stadium, eFootball PES 2020 will present an extremely precise reproduction of the Allianz Arena with many small but impressive details in design. The FC Bayern pros too will feature very accurately in eFootball PES 2020 after the 3D scan," said FC Bayern Munich.
