Premier League: interactive badges to feature on shirt sleeves during the Asia Trophy 2019 in China

The Premier League and its partner Avery Dennison, an American company specialised in the manufacture of pressure-sensitive adhesive materials, labels and tags, have introduced the first interactive badges with intelligent digital technology on the shirt sleeves of players for Asia Trophy matches, according to the League on 11/07/2019.

"The Avery Dennison team will host a number of customisation events across Nanjing and Shanghai (China) throughout the week of the tournament, showcasing the smart digital technology embedded in the limited-edition sleeve badge. Unique to the Asia Trophy, all fans can scan the new badge on their shirts and they will discover information on how they can enter to win tickets to the Asia Trophy matches in Shanghai and Nanjing - using #MyADPremierLeagueAsiaTrophyshirt on their Weibo social media accounts," said the Premier League.
