Atalanta BC: 2019-20 Champions League home games to be played at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milan

Atalanta Bergamasca Calcio (Serie A TIM) will play their 2019-20 Champions League home games at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza (San Siro, 78,328 capacity) in Milan (ITA), according to the Italian club on 12/07/2019. The city of Bergamo is located about 37 miles/60km northeast of Milan.

FC Internazionale Milano and AC Milan, which are responsible for the operational management of the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza/San Siro (via M-I Stadio, in which they each hold a 50% stake), have given their approval for Atalanta BC to play their 2019-20 European cup matches in the stadium. The Bergamo club will participate for the first time in the Champions League, after finishing third (with 69 points) in the 2018-19 Serie A TIM table, just ahead of the two Milanese clubs (Inter Milan, 4^th, will also participate in the group stage of the competition).
