UEFA Women's Euro 2021: BBC acquires the exclusive TV rights of the competition to be held England

The British public broadcasting group the BBC has acquired the exclusive broadcasting rights to the UEFA Women's Euro 2021 on 12/07/2019. England was named as host country for the competition on 03/12/2018. "There will be extensive coverage of every game of the tournament across television, radio and online," said the BBC.

28.1 million viewers watched the Women's World Cup 2019 (for at least 15 minutes) on the British group's TV channels. The competition was watched by 62% men and 38% women on average, according to the BBC on 08/07/2019.

The Women's Euro 2021 will take place in July 2021 with 16 national teams participating. Wembley Stadium (90,000 capacity) is expected to host the final, one year after the Euro 2020 final, which is also scheduled to be played within the stadium.

• The BBC also holds the rights to broadcast one game per matchday (as well as match highlights) of the Barclays FA Women's Super League Organised in France, from 07/06 to 07/07/2019, in nine cities: Grenoble, Le Havre, Lyon, Montpellier, Nice, Paris (Parc des Princes), Reims, Rennes and Valenciennes. …
