2019-20 Europa League: €560m for the 48 teams in the group stage, same as 2018-19

The 48 teams that will participate in the group stage of the 2019-20 Europa League 2019-20 will share a distribution of €560m, announced UEFA on 12/07/2019. This amount is the same as in the 2018-19 season, which was the first in the 2018-2021 business cycle.

The gross commercial revenues of the 2019-20 Champions League, 2019-20 Europa League  and the 2019 UEFA Super Cup are estimated to be around €3.25bn, also the same as in 2018-19: this represents a 41.3% increase compared to 2017-18 (€2.3bn), the last season of the 2015-2018 business cycle.

The distributed amounts available for participating clubs will be divided into four categories (see details below):
• 25% will be allocated to the starting fees (fixed share)(€140m).
• 30% will be allocated to the performance-related fixed amounts (€168m).
• 15% will be distributed on the basis of ten-year performance-based coefficient rankings (€84m).
• 30% will be allocated to variable amounts (TV market pool) (€168m).
