EA Ligue 1 Games: the first edition will be broadcast on FloSports (OTT) in the USA and Canada

The first edition of the EA Ligue 1 Games, a pre-season tournament featuring four Ligue 1 Conforama clubs (FC Girondins de Bordeaux, Olympique de Marseille, Montpellier Hérault Sport Club and AS Saint-Étienne) organised by the LFP in partnership with Electronic Arts, publisher of the FIFA video game, at the Audi Field (20,000 capacity) in Washington D.C. (USA) will be broadcast live in the United States and Canada on the US OTT platform FloSports, from 18 to 21/07/2019, announced the French Professional Football League on 15/07/2019.

Launched in 2006, "FloSports now offers its tens of thousands of subscribers more than 20 different sports in the United States and around the world, and has recently signed agreements with several Major League Soccer franchises including DC United, which will host the EA Ligue 1 Games at the Audi Field in Washington DC," said the LFP.

FloSports raised $47m (€41.7m) from, among others, the audiovisual group Discovery and World Wrestling Entertainment, as well as from existing shareholders such as Causeway Media Partners, Fertitta Capital and DCM Ventures…
