Tennis: Shiseido (JPN) replaces BNP Paribas as title sponsor of the WTA Finals from 2019

Shiseido, a Japanese cosmetics and luxury goods company, has become the title sponsor of the WTA Finals held in Shenzhen (China), according to the body on 17/07/2019. Shiseido will replace BNP Paribas. The WTA end-of-season tournament, held in Singapore between 2014 and 2018, was previously known as the "BNP Paribas WTA Finals".

The end-of-season women's tennis tournament, organised by the Chinese real estate developer Gemdale Corporation, in partnership with the WTA (Women's Tennis Association), will be known as the "Shiseido WTA Finals Shenzhen". The first edition will take place at the Shenzhen Bay Sports Centre (12,000 capacity) from 27/10 to 03/11/2019. The WTA selected the city of Shenzhen to host the WTA Finals for a 10 year period, 2019-2028, on 18/01/2018.
