FFF: opening of a "French Football Academy" in New York and a school sports section in Dubai

"The French Football Federation has launched its first French Football Academy in New York (United States) in early July, based in Manhattan and Brooklyn, and which is open to girls and boys aged 5 to 15 years old," announced the FFF on 18/07/2019.

"The FFF will also launch, in September 2019 in Dubai (UAE), its first international school sports section, male and female," said the body on 16/07/2019.

The New York Academy "has a diversified offer of practice: annual programmes with teams participating in championships, summer courses and 'after school' training. The structure will host several hundred young local children, French and foreign," added the French Federation, which emphasizes that it is "the first federation in the world to open this type of structure."

"The French Football Academy is part of our international development policy, with the FFF opening a French football office in China and renewing its partnership with Major League Soccer (MLS), in 2019-20, for the training of youth coaches from North American professional clubs," added the FFF.
