AFCON 2019 final: 1.6 million viewers in France for Senegal - Algeria on TMC (audience share: 10.1%)

The Total 2019 AFCON final, Senegal - Algeria (0-1), drew an average of 1.613 million viewers in France on the free-TV channel TMC (TF1 group), on Friday 19/07/2019 (kick-off at 21:00 CET).

This figure represented an audience share of 10.1%, which ranked the channel fourth in the French television market for prime time on 19/07/2019.

The TF1 group acquired the rights to broadcast the match, via sub-license from the pay-TV group beIN Sports, on 17/07/2019. The game was also broadcast on beIN Sports 1 whose audience figures were not communicated.

• The Total 2021 AFCON will be held in Cameroon, which was originally due to host the Total 2019 AFCON before being replaced by Egypt on 08/01/2019.
