Bundesliga: TSG Hoffenheim becomes the third German club to launch an official account on TikTok

TSG Hoffenheim (Bundesliga) has launched an official account on the Chinese video sharing platform TikTok, according to the club on 18/07/2019.

"We are launching our own channel for what is currently the hottest app in the world. The free app has built up a huge wave of hype, especially among children and teenagers. The most recent figures indicate that it has been downloaded more than a billion times worldwide, and that doesn't include downloads in China, where the app originated," said head of media at TSG Hoffenheim.

"According to expert estimates, there are already four million users in Germany," said the club which is the third from the Bundesliga to open an official account on the platform. FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) opened an official account on 12/04/2019 and Borussia Dortmund on 06/04/2019.
