Coppa Italia: first round on 04/08/2019, the top 8 Serie A TIM clubs enter in the Round of 16

The draw for the 2019-20 Coppa Italia (the first qualifying round is scheduled for Sunday 04/08/2019) took place at the Lega Serie A headquarters in Milan (ITA) on 22/07/2019.

A total of 78 clubs are participating in the Coppa Italia, but only 36 compete in the first qualifying round (one match on the pitch of the higher ranked team), 22 in the second round and 12 in the third round (featuring 12 of the 2019-20 Serie A TIM clubs) on 18/08/2019.

Finally, the top ranked teams (the top eight clubs of the 2018-19 Serie A TIM season) enter in the fifth round, which corresponds to the Round of 16 of the competition (played over a single match, on 15 or 22/01/2020), these clubs are, in alphabetical order: Atalanta Bergamasca Calcio, FC Internazional Milano, Juventus FC, Societa Sportiva Lazio, AC Milan, Societa Sportiva Calcio Napoli, AS Roma and Torino FC.

Juventus, 2018-19 Italian champions, will face AS Roma in the quarterfinals if both clubs reach the preceding round. As for SS Lazio, current trophy holders, they would then face SSC Napoli (table available to download).
