Premier League: Nissan extends as a partner of City Football Group and its affiliated clubs

The Japanese car manufacturer Nissan has extended its partnership with City Football Group and its affiliated clubs in the USA, Australia and the United Kingdom, including with Manchester City FC (Premier League), from 2019-20, announced the English club on 24/07/2019.

Nissan has the status of global partner, the first level in the sponsorship hierarchy of Manchester City FC. The car brand became a partner of City Football Group for the 2014-2019 cycle on 17/07/2014. The overall value of the contract was estimated at €5m per season. In addition to Manchester City, other clubs involved in this partnership are New York City FC (MLS) and Melbourne City FC (Hyundai A-League).

"The announcement comes as Manchester City, prepare to arrive in Japan for the last leg of the preseason tour of Asia. The tour culminates with a sold-out match at Nissan Stadium in Yokohama on 27/07/2019, where the team will take on the J-League's Yokohama F.
