Europa League: RC Strasbourg to play its first European match since 2006 versus Maccabi Haifa (ISR)

RC Strasbourg Alsace (Ligue 1 Conforama), the 2018-19 Coupe de la Ligue BKT champions, will face Maccabi Haifa FC (ISR, second in the 2018-19 Israeli Premier League) in the second qualifying round of the Europa League, at the Stade de la Meinau (27,500 capacity), on Thursday 25/07/2019 (kick-off at 20:45 CET). The return leg in Israel is scheduled for Thursday 01/08/2019 (20:00 local time, 19:00 CET). Both matches will be broadcast exclusively by RMC Sport in France.

In the event of qualification, Strasbourg will face either Lokomotiv Plovdiv (BUL) or Spartak Trnava (SVK) in the third round on Thursday 08/08 and 15/08/2019 (first leg in Bulgaria or Slovakia), as decided by the draw held on 22/07/2019.

Even before this second obstacle, the Alsatian club will know its possible play-off opponents, as the draw is scheduled to take place in Nyon (SUI) on 05/08/2019. The two leg matches will take place on 22/08 and 29/08/2019.

RC Strasbourg's last European match was a second-leg match versus FC Basel (SUI) in the Round of 16 of the UEFA Cup at the Stade de la Meinau on 16/03/2006. The…
