Premier League: Everton FC unveils plans for its future stadium (52,000 capacity, cost: €558m)

Everton FC (Premier League) has unveiled detailed plans for its future stadium, which will have a capacity of 52,000, with the possibility of increasing this capacity to 62,000 in the future, and which will be located at Bramley-Moore Dock in Liverpool (ENG) on 25/07/2019.

"The concepts show a stunning brick, steel and glass design which takes its inspiration from the historic maritime and warehouse buildings nearby. The structure combines the historic and the modern, with the brick base of the stadium incorporating a subtle nod to Goodison Park's famous Archibald Leitch lattice work while the dynamic roof structure made from steel and glass gives the stadium a modern finish," said Everton FC, who invited fans to attend an official presentation at the Titanic Hotel, near the site of the future stadium.

The final plans for the new stadium - designed by the English architect Dan Meis - will be submitted by Everton FC before the end of 2019. The club hopes to start work in 2020, with completion scheduled for 2023. The total cost of the works is estimated at £500m (€558m on…
