2019 Trophée des Champions: 11^th consecutive edition to be held outside France and the 3^rd in China

Paris Saint-Germain - Stade Rennais is the line-up for the 11^th consecutive edition of the Trophée des Champions (French Super Cup) to be organised outside of France: the match will be held at the Universiade Sports Centre in Shenzhen (in south-east China, between Canton and Hong Kong) on Saturday 03/08/2019 (kick-off at 19:30 local time, 13:30 CET, live on beIN Sports 1, in France), with coverage from 13:15 CET).

In total since 2009, seven different countries (Canada, Tunisia, Morocco, USA, Gabon, China and Austria), from four continents (North America, Africa, Asia and Europe) have organised the Trophée des Champions (see details below).

The 24^th edition of this pre-season match organised by the LFP between the defending French champions (Paris Saint-Germain in 2018-19) and the winners of the Coupe de France (Stade Rennais in 2018-19) is the third scheduled in China, after Beijing in 2014 (PSG - En Avant de Guingamp, 2-0, at the Workers' Stadium, 39,752 spectators, on 02/08/2014) and Shenzen in 2018 (PSG - AS Monaco FC, 4-0, at the Universiade Sports Centre, 41,237 spectators, on…
