eSports: Pizza Hut (restaurants) obtains virtual stadium naming rights for the NFL's competition

Pizza Hut, a network of fast food and takeaway restaurants belonging to the group Yum! Brands, has expanded its agreement with the NFL in the "first-ever official virtual stadium rights deal in eSports" by becoming the first virtual stadium naming partner in the NFL's eSports competition, the EA Sports Madden NFL 20 Championship Series (MCS), announced the North American league on 26/07/2019.

"MCS Major live tournaments (see details below) will occur in Pizza Hut Stadium - the new home of competitive Madden NFL. This year's MCS enhances the connection to the sport as all four Madden NFL Major tournaments occur during key NFL moments - the NFL Kickoff, the NFL playoffs push, the Super Bowl and the NFL Draft," said the NFL. Pizza Hut replaced Papa John's, an NFL partner since 2010, as the NFL's "official pizza partner" for several seasons, on 28/02/2018.
