England telecommunications group EE now major partner of Wembley Stadium until 2020

The English telecommunications company EE became the major partner of Wembley Stadium (90,000 seats) in London on 26/02/2014. The six-year contract between the two parties will continue until 2020. The partnership will officially start at the finals of the Capital One Cup between Manchester City and Sunderland on 02/03/2014.

The agreement includes high visibility for the telecommunications group. EE (Everything Everywhere) will be displayed on the front and roof of the venue. The entrance will also be illuminated in green, the colour of the brand. The official name is now "Wembley Stadium connected by EE." The agreement is valued at €4.9m, according to British newspaper The Times.

The partnership will create mobile ticketing options, improved access to the mobile network and the establishment of a Wi-Fi 4G network open to the general public. EE customers will benefit from exclusive advantages for ticketing services at Wembley in March 2014.
