CAF: Fatma Samoura, FIFA General Delegate for Africa, has taken up her new post in Cairo (EGY)

FIFA secretary general Fatma Samoura (SEN) has taken office as FIFA's General Delegate for Africa at CAF Headquarters in Cairo (EGY), stated the African football body on 03/08/2019.

The leader, "appointed for a period of six months, from 01/08/2019 to 31/01/2020, renewable with prior agreement of the two organizations", took part, in Cairo, in two meetings chaired by Ahmad Ahmad (MAD), the president of the CAF, "the first with the executive committee of the body and the second extended to all members of the administration", said the African Confederation.

"I'd like to thank the CAF staff for their warm welcome and motivation to push African forward. Together we will serve all African Member Associations and bring stability, serenity, professionalism and effective development to our continent, where passion for is so prevalent," said Fatma Samoura via Twitter on 03/08/2019.
