LaLiga Santander: iFLYTEK (translation technology, CHN) partner of RCD Espanyol from 2019-20

iFLYTEK, a Chinese company specializing in voice assistance and artificial intelligence for translation, has become a partner of the Reial Club Deportiu Espanyol of Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) from 2019-20, announced the club on 05/08/2019. The duration of the agreement between the two parties was not disclosed.

iFLYTEK has the status of official translation partner, which is a second-level partnership in the sponsorship hierarchy of the Barcelona-based club. In addition, RCD Espanyol's Chinese player Wu Lei becomes an ambassador of the "iFLYTEK Translation Machine", a tool allowing people speaking a different language to hold a discussion through simultaneous translation.

"We are convinced that this collaboration with iFLYTEK is a step forward for the club and that it will facilitate some of our negotiations. In the future, iFLYTEK will contribute to the development of RCD Espanyol and improve relations between Spain and China," stated the club.
