England: all Women's Super League matches broadcast on new free platform

132 matches of the 2019-20 Barclays FA Women's Super League, one game per matchday of the FA Women's Championship (second division), representing more than 150 matches in total, will be broadcast on "FA Player", a future international and free OTT platform of the Football Association (FA), announced the English football body on 06/08/2019.

Summaries and archives of the matches of the English women's national team, the SSE Women's FA Cup and the FA Continental Tires League Cup will also be available on the platform.

The British broadcasting group BBC and pay-TV operator BT Sport will continue to broadcast "more than 30 live matches" of the Barclays FA Women's Super League in the 2019-20 season. The images of these matches will not be available on the platform, in the UK, for these matches, specifies the English body.

  • The 2019-20 season of the Barclays FA Women's Super League begins on Saturday 07/09/2019, with the derby between Manchester City FC - Manchester United FC at the Etihad Stadium (capacity 55,017), kick-off at 15:00 local time, 16:00 CET.
