"We believe it is a good deal. We invest in our brand and in the development of the company in Germany and abroad," said Joseph Kumar Gross, marketing manager of the Allianz Group to the German financial website Börse Online on 17/02/2014. The German insurance company, who has had naming rights to the stadium of Bayern Munich since 2006 (Allianz Arena), acquired an 8.33% stake in the FC Bayern Munich AG corporation for €110m on 11/02/2014.

"The Allianz Arena is so far our most successful marketing initiative. Around the world, our Allianz colleagues benefit from the reputation of the Allianz Arena and from this journey with FC Bayern Munich for their advertising, marketing initiatives and customer loyalty. Our commitment is based on an international ideology.
