Matchday 1 of the 2019-20 Premier League season drew an average of 40,277 spectators per game, from 09 to 11/08/2019. The average fill rate was 97%. The 20 Premier League clubs had an average of 38,072 spectators per game on the first matchday of the 2018-19 season, for a fill rate of 98%.
