Bundesliga: the DFL creates a joint venture with Athletia to combat piracy

The DFL has creates, with Athletia, a German company services and media solutions, a joint venture called "ryghts" to fight against piracy, announced the German League on 07/08/2019.

Ryghts will be responsible for ensuring the protection of the Bundesliga's content, internationally, both on the web, social networks and IPTV. This is the first time that the DFL has entrusted all of its anti-piracy missions to a single entity, said the German League.

Athletia has been working in this field with the DFL since 2015, but only on social networks.

The ryghts joint venture, the second investment of the DFL for Equity program
