Bundesliga: Linglong Tire (tyres, CHN) becomes sleeve sponsor of VfL Wolfsburg (2019-2022)

Linglong Tyre has expanded its partnership and becomes the shirt sleeve sponsor of VfL Wolfsburg (Bundesliga) for three seasons (2019-2022), the club announced on 08/08/2019. The Chinese brand had extended its agreement for the 2019-2022 cycle on 28/05/2019, without benefiting from a display on the club's kit. Linglong Tire is VfL Wolfsburg's sleeve sponsor in the Bundesliga and also for DFB-Pokal matches.

The Chinese company first became the "official tire partner" of VfL Wolfsburg from 2015 to 2018.

Linglong Tire is taking over the sleeve space from US logistics company UPS, the VfL Wolfsburg sleeve sponsor for the 2017-2019 period. The annual amount of Linglong Tire's agreement is estimated at €2.5m per year, compared to €1.5m for UPS.
