Germany: Eurosport to broadcast one game per round of the women's Bundesliga free-to-air (2019-2022)

The audiovisual group Eurosport has acquired the rights to broadcast free-to-air, in Germany, one game per matchday of the Flyeralarm Frauen-Bundesliga, from the DFB, for the 2019-2022 cycle, announcd the two parties on 12/08/2019.

The gamess will be broadcast on Friday night in prime time (around 19:00 CET) for free on Eurosport 1, usually a paid channel. Eurosport already held these rights over the 2013-2016 cycle before they were acquired by the free-TV channel Sport1 for the 2016-2018 cycle and by the German public broadcasting group ARD during the 2018-19 season.

The German telecommunications operator Deutsche Telekom holds the rights to broadcast the entire Flyeralarm Frauen-Bundesliga during the 2018-2022 cycle. The 2.Frauen Bundesliga matches have been broadcast on the soccerwatch.tv platform since 12/04/2019 and until the end of the 2020-21 season.
