LaLiga: major changes in sponsorship of the clubs for the 2019-20 season

The 2019-20 LaLiga Santander season kicks off with the Athletic Club - FC Barcelona match at San Mamés (53,332 capacity), on Friday, 16/08/2019 (kick-off at 21:00 CET). Puma, Reale Seguros, Libertex, Marathonbet, bwin... There are many changes are to be noted in terms of sponsorship for this new season.

FC Barcelona, champion of Spain in 2018-19, has concldued five partnership / sponsorship agreements (new partnership, extension or expansion) since 11/06/2019, including 1xBet (sports betting), Oppo (smartphones) and Konami (video game publisher of eFootball PES 2020).

Valencia CF welcomes three new shirt sponsors as well as a new equipment supplier: Puma (equipment supplier) replaces adidas; bwin (sports betting) is now displayed as the main shirt sponsor instead of Blu (smartphones), Sailun Tire (tyres) occupies the sleeve sponsorship instead of Sesderma (dermocosmetic products) and Libertex (trading) is the back of the shirt sponsor instead of beIN Sports (TV). In total, these four new partnerships should bring €12m annually to Valencia CF.
