2019-20 Ligue 1 Conforama: 1.1 million TV subscribers for Stade Rennais - PSG on Canal+

Stade Rennais FC - Paris Saint-Germain (2-1), on Matchday 2 of the 2019-20 Ligue 1 Conforama season, drew an average of 1.1 million subscribers on the pay-TV channel Canal+, on Sunday 18/08/2019 (kick-off at 21:00 CET), according to data from the audience measurement institute Médiamétrie.

This figure represented an audience share of 6%, which ranked Canal+ sixth in the French television market for prime time on Sunday 18/08/2019.

• The Canal+ group broadcasts three games (first three choices) per Ligue 1 Conforama matchday over the 2016-2020 cycle:
  
  • The Friday night match at 20:45 CET Central European Time is usually broadcast on Canal+ Sport, while the Saturday match at 17:00 and the match on Sunday at 21:00 are broadcast on Canal+.
    
    • In 2016-17, Saturday matches at 17:00 were broadcast on Canal+ Sport.
    • Until the 2018-19 season, the Saturday match was broadcast at 17:00.
