2019 Rugby World Cup: 30 broadcasters in 217 territories and matches broadcast in 8K in Japan

The 2019 Rugby World Cup will be broadcast by 30 broadcasters around the world, bringing content to more than 800 million homes in 217 territories, surpassing the record of 683 million homes set in 2015, according to World Rugby on 20/08/2019, one month before the opening of the 2019 tournament, to be played in Japan from 20/09 to 02/11/2019. "World Rugby will offer a streaming offer in territories where broadcast contracts could not be concluded."
