"The number of social media subscribers can be considered a good indicator of business value -- the more a club counts, the higher the value of the business. The analysis shows that there is a strong direct correlation between the increase in the number of fans on the main social platforms and the increase of the value of a club," indicated IQUII Sport, an Italian consulting company specialized in the digital field, and Phoenix Capital, an investment consulting company, in their joint report #StartSerieA, published on 23/08/2019, the day before the start of the 2019-20 season of the Italian championship.

#StartSerieA first presents a ranking of the 20 clubs of Serie A TIM according to their number of subscribers on four major social networks: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. With a total of 79.2 million subscribers, Juventus FC is well in front, ahead of AC Milan (38.6 million), FC Internazionale Milano (21.4 million), AS Roma (14.5 million) and the SSC Napoli (7.5 million).
