2019-20 Champions League: results of the draw for the group stage of the competition

Liverpool FC (Premier League, ENG) the 2018-19 Champions League winners from Pot 1 will face Societa Sportiva Calcio Napoli (Serie A TIM, ITA), FC Red Bull Salzburg (Tipico Bundesliga, AUT) and KRC Genk (Juliper Pro League, BEL) in Group E, after the draw held by UEFA at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco on Thursday 29/08/2019.

Paris Saint-Germain, the 2018-19 French champions also from Pot 1, will play in Group A, alongside Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander, ESP), Club Brugge KV (Jupiler Pro League, BEL) and Galatasaray SK (Spor Toto Süper Lig, TUR).

Manchester City FC (Premier League, ENG), the 2018-19 English champions, will play in Group C with Shakhtar Donetsk (Ukrainian Premier League, UKR), GNK Dinamo Zagreb (Croatian First Football League, CRO) and Atalanta Bergamasca Calcio (Serie A TIM, ITA).

Group H will consist of the 2018-19 Europa League winners Chelsea FC (Premier League, ENG), LOSC Lille (Ligue 1 Conforama, FRA) AFC Ajax (Eredivisie, NED) and Valencia CF (LaLiga Santander, ESP).
