Bundesliga: FSV Mainz 05 to promote start-ups specialised in sustainable development

FSV Mainz 05 (Bundesliga) has partnered with the German online sustainable investments platform Wiwin to promote start-ups specialised in sustainable development, according to the club on 27/08/2019.

As part of the partnership, at each 2019-20 Bundesliga match at the Opel Arena (33,305 capacity), start-up leaders will be invited to present their projects in one of the stadium's lounges, in the presence of potential investors gathered by the club. Three prizes will be awarded during the season to the start-ups "displaying the most exciting projects," said the club.

"Our cooperation with Wiwin will encourage young companies that share our values and participate in changing attitudes in society. With Wiwin and our networks, we can create important synergies and promote sustainable companies," said Jan Lehmann, commercial director of FSV Mainz 05.
