Olympique de Marseille (Ligue 1 Conforama) has decided to modernize some technical aspects of the Orange Vélodrome (66,264 seats) by partnering with L-Acoustics, a French company specializing in high-end live sound reinforcement, said the club on 29/08/2019.

"The installation, designed specifically for the stadium, was modeled using L-Acoustics Soundvision, a powerful digital sound and mechanical simulation tool that allows you to view the stadium's sound coverage in 3-D from a virtual representation. Soundvision optimizes the location, angles, and speaker settings to ensure consistent sound coverage for everyone," said the club.

"A system of 300 loudspeakers and 51 amplifiers has been installed to provide uniform coverage for all fans and the main speaker model of this installation, called K2, and is the choice of many artists in the biggest international tours," continued the club.
