Bundesliga: Eintracht Frankfurt has over 80,000 members in 2019-20 (compared to 25,000 in 2014)

Eintracht Frankfurt (Bundesliga) has over 80,000 members at the beginning of the 2019-20 season, a new record, according to the club on 29/08/2019.

"The pace of growth is impressive: just three months after reaching 75,000 members, an additional 5,000 have officially declared their support for their favourite club, which has doubled its membership since the beginning of 2017," said Eintracht Frankfurt, which had just 25,000 members in 2014 and reached the 50,000 mark in 2018.

Five German clubs have more members than Eintracht: FC Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, FC Schalke 04, Borussia Mönchengladbach (all four in the Bundesliga) and VfB Stuttgart (2.Bundesliga). "The medium-term goal of reaching 100,000 members remains," added the German club.
