Premier League: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts of the 20 clubs (September 2019)

The 20 clubs involved in the 2019-20 Premier League season have nearly 468 million fans on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, according to data collected by News Tank Football on 01/09/2019. This total makes the Premier League the second most popular European Top 5 league on all the three social networks, behind LaLiga Santander, with an average of more than 23.4 million fans per club.

Manchester United FC are the most popular English club with over nearly 125 million fans, followed by two London clubs: Chelsea FC, with nearly 80 million fans and Arsenal FC, with over 68 million.

Liverpool FC was the most successful Premier League club in August 2019 with a total of 1.4 million additional fans, including almost 1 million on Instagram alone. Manchester United FC surpassed 20 million followers on Twitter, while Wolverhampton Wanderers FC and Watford FC passed the 500,000 mark on Instagram.
