Swimming: Eurosport acquires TV rights to the International Swimming League for 2 years (2019-2020)

Eurosport has acquired the exclusive TV rights (live and delayed broadcast), in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region (excluding Australia), for the new International Swimming League (ISL) swimming competition, for two years, 2019 and 2020, according to the pay-TV group on 26/08/2019.

"As part of the agreement with the ISL, Eurosport will also have digital rights to the competition and exclusive sublicense rights worldwide (except the USA and Australia)," said the group. The ISL, financed by billionaire Konstantin Grigorishin, an art collector with three nationalities (Russian, Ukrainian and Cypriot), will see eight clubs compete in six stages (see below) before a final held at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas (USA).
