Spain: RFEF launches tender for domestic TV rights for the Copa del Rey in the 2019-2022 cycle

The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has launched the call for tenders for the domestic broadcasting rights to the Copa del Rey for the 2019-2022 period, on 30/08/2019. Interested candidates have until 30/09/2019 to respond and the awarding will take place in "early October," said RFEF.

A minimum of 65 matches per season will be broadcast and the semi-finals and final will be broadcast via free-to-air television.

The call for tenders for broadcasting rights in Europe and further abroad will be launched later, added the Spanish Federation.
