Italy: distribution agreement for DAZN on Sky Italia and creation of the DAZN1 satellite TV channel

"DAZN confirms the signature of a new commercial agreement with Sky Italia which, in addition to a series of offers dedicated to the visualisation of streaming content, also includes the launch of the DAZN1 satellite channel," said the OTT platform DAZN on 31/08/2019. The DAZN1 channel will be available on Sky Italia from 20/09/2019.

DAZN1 will broadcast the main sporting events in DAZN's rights catalogue in Italy, including three games per Serie A TIM matchday and two games per Serie BKT matchday.

"DAZN's complete programming, on the other hand, will remain available only in streaming mode," said the OTT platform.

"DAZN continues to invest in order to grow the platform and expand the offer of streaming content.
