FC Bayern Munich: a record turnover (€750.4m, +14.1%) and net profit (€52.5m) in 2018-19

FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) have posted a turnover of €750.4m for the financial year 2019 (01/07/2018 to 30/06/2019), a 14.1% increase compared to 2018 (€657.4m), according to the club on 04/09/2019. This is the highest turnover in the history of the Bavarian club.

These revenues, which Bayern has not given details of, include the activities of the commercial company FC Bayern München AG (in charge of the professional football team), Allianz Arena Stadion GmbH (in charge of the stadium) as well as the club's other subsidiaries.

Bayern Munich posted an EBITDA of €146.1m in 2018-19, up 7% over the previous year. The club posted a net profit of €52.5m (+78% compared to 2017-18), which is also a new record.

"Of course we are extremely pleased with FC Bayern's financial development. Both the turnover and the profit rose to new records. FC Bayern's development is outstanding, both in a sporting and financial sense," said Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, chairman of the executive board at FC Bayern München AG.
