"I would say to the Brazilian people, now, get up for football, embrace this great event, live football. It will be a very, very good competition and I'm sure that the Brazilian population will get behind their team," said Joseph Blatter, president of FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) on the "100 days to go" celebration of the World Cup in Brazil on 04/03/2014.

"Mobilise yourselves for football!" joked Joseph Blatter to Brazilian people in a video message.

On the 12/06/2014 (day of the opening match, Brazil-Croatia), there will be a large lighthouse, fireworks if you want, and a dove of peace to start the World Cup in Brazil," added the president of FIFA.
