The telecommunications operator Orange has signed a new distribution agreement with its competitor Altice France (parent company of the French telecommunications operator SFR) for the broadcasting of the BFMTV, RMC Découverte, RMC Story, BFM Paris and BFM Lyon Métropole channels on 06/09/2019.

"The BFMTV, RMC Découverte and RMC Story channels, suspended on 05/09/2019, will be available again today (06/09/2019) for Orange subscribers. With the new agreement, the two local channels BFM Paris and BFM Lyon Metropole will be added," explained Altice France.

BFMTV, RMC Découverte and RMC Story are no longer distributed by the telecommunications operator Free, due to a lack of agreement with Altice France since 27/08/2019.

  • BFMTV broadcast the final of the 2018-19 Champions League.
  • RMC Story has broadcast one Europa League game per matchday for free-to-air broadcast since the 2018-19 season.
  • BFM Paris and BFM Lyon Métropole will broadcast the 2019-20 Champions League matches of Paris Saint-Germain and Olympique Lyonnais respectively on Fridays during Champions League weeks.
